Karen and I are in Geneva, which felt like a two-day flight, leaving on a Saturday and arriving mid day Sunday. By Monday morning, I found myself running the Promenade along the south shore of Lake Geneva.

The Lake is famous for this Jet d’Eau (water jet). Starting from the Jardin Anglais (English garden), I was able to squeeze in 8 miles. I ran out of runable pavement and into busy streets after about 4 miles.

I wouldn’t say the promenade was busy but it was active with locals cycling to work and a few swimmers at this beach in the center of the city. I might explore the north shore next time.
